Hello! I am Farida Idris Mohamed
With over 18 years of experience across various East African industries, I have been instrumental in shaping the media, events, and entertainment sectors, notably through my leadership at Capital FM Kenya and as the Project Director of the Koroga Festival—one of East Africa’s most celebrated cultural and musical events
My journey began in Garba Tula, a small town in Isiolo County. Growing up in a community where many young girls had limited career opportunities, I was determined to chart a different path. A chance encounter with the late Chris Kirubi opened the door to Capital FM Kenya, where I started my career and have grown alongside the company.
